Terms of Service

These terms govern your access to and use of SOI.market. If you don't agree, please don't use the site.

1. Scope of service

SOI.market is a second-hand marketplace in Thailand offering listing, buying, chat, escrow-protected payments, and shipping. Some features may be rolled out gradually or gated behind identity verification.

2. Eligibility

  • At least 13 years old (with guardian consent if under 20)
  • Resident in Thailand or intending to use the service in Thailand
  • Willing to follow applicable laws and these terms

3. Accounts and usernames

  • One account per person. No duplicate accounts to bypass limits or boost rank.
  • No impersonation, trademark-infringing, or offensive usernames.
  • We may reclaim usernames that violate these terms without prior notice.

4. Prohibited use

  • Unlawful or abusive use of the site
  • Spam, phishing, or unauthorized access to other accounts
  • Probing for vulnerabilities or disrupting service
  • Automated scraping without permission
  • Content that infringes IP, is defamatory, or violates Thai law

5. User-generated content: zero tolerance

Listings, photos, messages, reviews, and profiles are created by users, not by us. SOI.market has zero tolerance for objectionable content and for abusive users. By creating an account you agree not to post, send, or share content that is illegal, obscene, sexually explicit, hateful, harassing, threatening, discriminatory, violent, defamatory, fraudulent, or that promotes any of the above — and not to harass, threaten, stalk, or abuse any other user.

  • Filtering. Listings, photos, and messages are screened automatically before and after they go live. Content that trips our filters is blocked or removed.
  • Reporting. Every listing, chat, and profile carries a report control. Anyone can flag content or a user without leaving the screen they are on.
  • 24-hour action. We review every report within 24 hours. Content that violates these terms is removed, and the account that posted it is suspended or permanently ejected.
  • Blocking. You can block any user from their profile, from any of their listings, or from a chat. A block is immediate and mutual: their listings leave your feed and search results, and neither of you can message, offer, or contact the other again.
  • Repeat and severe offenders. We terminate accounts for repeat violations, and immediately for a single severe one. We may report illegal content to Thai authorities.

6. Referrals and marketing perks

  • Promotional perks (shipping credit, zero-fee periods, etc.) are marketing offers — not contractual entitlements.
  • We may adjust, extend, or withdraw perks at any time at our discretion.
  • We may deduct points or revoke perks earned through fraudulent referrals without prior notice.

7. Intellectual property

SOI.market trademarks, logo, design, and code are solely ours. Using the site grants you no ownership beyond normal use of the website.

8. Limitation of liability

We aim to provide the service continuously but do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation. To the extent permitted by Thai law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages or loss of data.

9. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. Continued use after a change constitutes acceptance of the updated version. We will announce material changes via the site or the channels you've given us.

10. Governing law and disputes

These terms are governed by the laws of Thailand. Any disputes are subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of Thai courts.
